Query: HP DL360 Gen10 Changed security setting from Production to FIPS

Hi Team,

HP DL360 Gen10 Change security setting from Production to FIPS , Post that security setting production option is not listed we are unable to revert back to production state? 

Why we need to bring ILO security status to production mode due to Intelligent provisioning update is not supported in FIPS/High Security Mode.

RESOLUTION

Higher security mode functionality is not supported in Intelligent Provisioning, and will not be supported through the lifespan of HPE Gen10 products.

If Intelligent Provisioning is needed, reset the security mode to "production."

Kindly let us know if any procedure available to bring system back to production mode.

Hi Team,

For Disable FIPS if we perform to reset ILO to factory default setting with below given procedure. In that case our application required downtime entire system need to be reset.

can you let us know procedure to downgrade FIPS to production mode , without affecting application running on the system.

You cannot  change from FIPS to Production without ILO reset.

You need a server reboot to reset the iLO to factory defaults and configure.
