HP DL370 and CentOS 5.5 Problem
Hello!
I wanted to ask if someone has expirienced problems with the following config:
HP DL 370 G6 + HP Smart Array P410i + Centos 5.5 final
RAID 10 with 2 SAS HDDs 146GB
RAID 50 with 8 SATA HDDs each 1TB
We have 3 of this machines and whenever a harddisk is broken, the OS isn't reachable anymore. We have to manually power off and restart the machine (and first take off the broken disk). According to the HP Helpdesk this is a known problem with the P410i and Centos and as long as they don't supprt CentOS theres no way to get help.
Did anybody solve this problem?
Regards
Kucher Wolfgang
