HP DL380 G6 with SAS Disks.
The server has a embedded P410i Smart array Controller which is disabled in firmware. When I enable it and reboot, it reverts back to disabled. Its not conflicting with the SAS controller (even disabled SAS to test)Cant figure out why. Any ideas anyone?...Cheers.

Re: HP DL380 G6 with SAS Disks.
ok ... Len
remove all discs now
and remove all extra pci cards important ...
use maintenance switch switch nr 6 its shown on the cover of the lid when you remove it , flick the switch over , start up , shutdown and switch it back,
now start, if all okay fine
if not
use firmware maintenance cd version 8.6
update the server and raid controller now update the controller with the latest firmware again as it it is on the link it is a supplemental update and not on the cd rom

if you still have issue and have done all this let us have the precise message from the ilo iml log , and run adu boot from the software cd rom and run adu diagnostics and post log :)
This is how we thank in the forum
