HP DL380 G7 Smart Array P410i firmware update 5.70 to 6.64

Dear all,

 

I am trying to add 2 more SAS hard disk in the subject mentioned server and expand my existing array. My current Smart Array P410i firmware is 5.70.

 

is it safe to update the firmware to 6.64? Or is there any other prerequisites I should consider before doing this. I cant afford a downtime

I have already taken windows server complete backup. Please help.

Here is a list of all fixes since the version you have.
