HP HDD, but how to verify the part number?
I have seen some HP HDD advertised as 652583-B21 which are 600GB 10K 6G SAS SC HDD, but the label and caddy have HP P/N 693569-003/ GPN 713928-001 – caddy 713964
Are these the same thing, everything I can find has 652583-B21 being the same as 653957-001, but nothing officially linking them to 713928-001
So, are these real HP HDD, are they 652583-B21, any ideas why this 713928-001 has so little information about it?

Re: HP HDD, but how to verify the part number?
This is the only offical code:
http://partsurfer.hpe.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=652583-B21
If you check the HD Matrix or partsurfer, you'll notice that code 713928-001 does not exists.

I haven't compared the two numbers, but 6562583-B21 is the options part number for orginally ordering the drives. The label on the drives with 693569-003 should be the spare parts number for ordering a replacement -003 means the 3rd revision

Re: HP HDD, but how to verify the part number?
There is no record for Part# 713928-001 in the HPE Hard Drive Model Number Matrix.
But there is an HPE advisory re. certain HP SAS Hard Drive Models with Unrecoverable Read Errors, where 713928-001 is listed:
The appropriate HP Option Kit there is 713827-B21
713827-B21 in HPE Part Surfer is pointing to 713964-001 for Gen8/9
