HP ML310e with P222 smart array controller

Hi All,

The server come with a cable connect drive cage to on board B120i controller. Then i disconnect it and use same cable to connect to P222 smart array controller. However, no HDD is detect during setup. Should I need to buy item 662899-B21 (HP Mini SAS Straight to Left 33in Cable) to connect drive cage and P222 controller card?

Do you mean make P222 as default boot controller? I made it before and still no drive under P222 when configure ACU.

Yes I mean that the boot controler must be P222.

Please this card P222, you ordered this card in your server aquisition?

Yes, I read the quickspec before and sure  hard disk is in the support list.

Below URL said that A quantity of 1 HP Mini SAS Str to Left 33in Cable Assy (662899-B21) is required for proper connectivity. So want to make sure bofore order it.
