HP NC-Series Multifunction Driver for Windows Server 2003 SP2

Hi All,

I have installed Exchange Server on HP DL580 server with windows server 2003. recently i updated service pack with SP2. after SP2 exchange server started giving problem like users outlook disconection, event error 9646 etc.
Is it something to do with network card or windows server 2003 SP2.
Now I have uninstalled SP2 from exchange server and it is working fine.
please help me to resolve this issue.

thanks,

I don't believe this has anything to do with the NIC at all. Look at this information:

Windows 2003 SP2 introduced a feature called scalable networking. Disabling it immediately fixed the problem of Outlook clients using too many sessions. To disable without rebooting enter the following at a command prompt:

netsh int ip set chimney diabled

To permanently disable (reboot required), set the following registry value to 0:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\EnableTCPChimney.

This was pulled from eventid.net
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Thanks for your reply.

We had already tried that option but it didnt work.
I have other exchange servers with different H/W make and they are working fine with SP2. only HP DL580 is giving problem.

waiting for your replies...

thanks,
