My Domain Controller Raid Array A-the Operating System-2008 Std, ] shows Fail soon.
Anyone pls give some advise to rebuild.
Pls See the attached Screen Shots from HP Array Config Utility.

Smart Array P410i in Embedded Slot → Physical Drive 1I:1:2 Physical Drive State: Predictive failure. This physical drive is predicted to fail soon.

Read Errors Hard 73 Predictive Failure Errors 27
Please replace this hard drive. The other hdds are clean.

if i put New HDD- Same array and re-build it will make any problem??
Windows Work Properly? . Becoz this one is the Domain Controller and Some Important Share also there...

hi,
There is nothing special. Just remove the affected drive and install a new one in the bay. The rebuild will start automaticaly. Downtime is not needed, because the drives are hot plug. You can face a small performance degardation during the rebuild process.
That's the way it should works , but everything is possible and a valid backup is always must.
