HP ProLiant 320e Gen8 Win Server 2019 upgrade
Hi, we don't use any hypervisor or storage. Can we upgrade our server to 2019 version. There are some topic on this but I want to be sure if the hypervisor makes difference or not.

Re: HP ProLiant 320e Gen8 Win Server 2019 upgrade
According to HPE's OS Support Matrix (see below), this server isn't compatible with that OS. It doesn't mean 2019 won't work, but it would be an unsupported configuration and you could experience problems if you ever needed to open a support call with HPE.

Re: HP ProLiant 320e Gen8 Win Server 2019 upgrade
I don't think we're saying it won't work. I've seen a successful "lab" install on a ProLiant DL360p Gen8 and DL380p Gen8, it just won't be a supported configuration by HPE. If you run into any problems with firmware, drivers, utilities, OS, etc. you probably wouldn't be able to open a call with HPE technical support or Microsoft for that matter because the server isn't qualified to run that OS.
