HP ProLiant DL 380 Gen9 iLO 4 firmware upgrade
Hi Forum, I updated iLO 4 firmware of HP ProLiant DL 380 Gen 9 from 2.80 to 2.82 recently but unfortunately it's triggering SNMP alerts very frequently post upgrade. SNMP settings are same on all other host and running on iLO 4 version 2.80 and not getting such alerts for other hosts
VMware ESXi 7.0.3 is installed on host.
Appreciated if someon can help in finding the correct iLO 4 latest version?

Re: HP ProLiant DL 380 Gen9 iLO 4 firmware upgrade
@Harshitha_K Hi Harshitha,
AFAIK, iLO firmware is independent of the OS running on the server and
should be upgraded most of the time from iLO itself and won't require
reboot.
But the firmware file shared by you needs to be installed at OS level and
may require reboot.
Can you advise if iLO update from OS level requires reboot as I have to
plan then accordingly?
Thanks & Regards
Brij
