HP Proliant DL360 Server Crashes after 1 min 45 second
I started experienceing power failure type crashes on this server . I replaced both PSUs and made sure the DIMM population was correct. I notice it is exactly 1 minutes and 45 seconds that the server crashes. I can monitor on the screen. While the Power and thermal Calibration is ongoing just as the advanced memory protection statement prints it crashes. The light to the right of the UID blinks RED. Then the cyle begins again.
It crashes at the same second each time.
Can someone guide me on how to view the logs? I cannot seem to make any input on the server via keyboard at that time. I hear others speak of messages in the logs but I cannot even access any logs...at least not from the keyboard.
Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to scrap the whole server its something I can fix. Or within a 100 dollars or so of fixing!
Thank you so much!

Re: HP Proliant DL360 Server Crashes after 1 min 45 second
Hello,
You may try clearing the server's NVRAM. You may perform the following steps to do so:
- To do so, power off the server and remove the power cables.
- Remove the access panel from the server.
- Refer to item number 2 of the diagram "System board components" on page 61 of the HP ProLiant DL360 G7 Server Maintenance and Service Guide to locate the system maintenance switch.
- Once identified, set swith "S6" from its default position of "Off" to "On".
- Replace the access panel, connect the power cables to the power supplies and power on the server.
- When see a message indicating that a system maintenance swith is turned on and needs to be turned off, then power off the server.
- Remove the power cables and then the server's access panel.
- Revert switch "S6" position to default "Off" and replace the access panel.
- Connect the power cables to the power supplies and then power on the server.

Re: HP Proliant DL360 Server Crashes after 1 min 45 second
Thank you for your suggestion...is there a document you can show me for this...currently it is stuck in a boot loop and the ILO has not been set up for remote management. I am in front of the server and after 1 minute 45 seconds it crashes. I am unsure how to access these logs in this state. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: HP Proliant DL360 Server Crashes after 1 min 45 second
I cannot access the ILO port via http or do anything with the vga access as its stuck in a short loop of 1 min 45 seconds. Not enogh time to access either between reboots. Anyone have another troubleshooting method I can use to figure out my next step?
Thank you
