hp proliant dl380 g3/Smart Array Controller issue

Hi

I need some help on a server hp proliant dl380 G3, when I start it and after all the memory is recognized I dont get any error, but the smart array get stuck in the smart array initial process, this is all I see in the screen:

slot 0 hp smart array 5i controller intializing..... *********

I had installed in this server Windows 2003 Enterprise, Service pack 2, the last process I did before the crash was a Internet Explorer browser update (version 8) the updating process asked to restart the server and after that, it never came back again.

Any kind of advice would be appreciated
