Does anyone here have any idea regarding the insight diagnostics log result from HP Proliant DL380 G6 server below? At this moment, server up and running fine.

Device, Test:

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G6 - DIMM SPD Errors test

Hi,

SPD means Serial Presence Detect
The SPD data actually provide vital information to the system Bios to keep the system working in optimal condition with the memory DIMM.

As per the report DIMM=09 has Uncorrectable & Correctable error

Corrected Memory Error threshold exceeded
Description: This message indicates that a memory module has exceeded the prefailure threshold for correctable memory errors.
Action: The memory module should be replaced as soon as possible.

Uncorrectable Memory Error
Description: This message indicates that a memory module has failed. This problem could be intermittent due to the way memory fails so the sytem may reboot even though a memory module indicated a failure.
Action: The memory module should be replaced as soon as possible. There is the possibility that the server may get a Non-Maskable Interrupt and be halted if this error occurs.

Thanks
