hp proliant dl380 g6 with a fan problem
My server 2 days ago started using the fans in a strange way after he enters the vmware the fans start using the fans quickly without use, from 13"% to 60% or up to 80%, I already did reset by bios reset cmos and reset by pin 6 of the board, I already changed the HDD temperatures, I already cleaned it completely, they are normal in the ilo. Does anyone know what can it be.
(I have all the updates up to date, and tested several systems with the same problem)

Re: hp proliant dl380 g6 with a fan problem
Check if any changes were made when the issue started. Check the thermal configuration if it has been set to optimal cooling. Usually the fans start to run at a higher speed if it finds out or senses that there is any degraded components. Run a diagnostic test and try isolating the issue by minimum configuration. If issue still persists then log a support ticket to have the server diagnosed.
Cheers
