HP Proliant DL380 G9 / HPE Smart Array P440ar Controller: not detected intermittently

from time to time, the smart array freeze and the fans produce an excessif noise.
i have try to update the firmware, the smart array card not detected.

Please, need your support

Hi,

My assumption is that the Card is either failing or the slot is failing.

Try the card in a different slot if available.

Hi Team,

DL380 G9 has only one slot for smart array.

by checking the smart array card in another server, i received the same issue.

so, it seems the smart array card P440ar has manufacturing defect.
So now i am working to order another card for replacement.
