My organisation just acquired a used DL380 Gen9 and purchased the following rack rail kit from eBay to mount it in our server room:
Unfortunately when we came to mount it, we found the server still sticks out 2-3 inches when pushed in and has reached the rear stopper on the rails so it cannot go in properly.
Does anyone know of a solution for this so we can get the server in fully? I believe we need a different rack rail kit, but I'm not certain which to try to avoid the same issue.

SolutionUpdate:
Should anyone run into this, it appears the problem is we have the wrong rack rails. There are two different sizes of the DL380 Gen9--LFF and SFF--and one is longer than the other. So we need the LFF rails and seem to have the SFF ones.
