hi all,
I have hp proliant DL740,after installing Windiws 2000 SP3 using smart start its performance was too bad, then I installed the OS without using Smart Start and it was very good, but after configure the new device the "hp ProLiant Memory Host controller" the performance went down. Then I have disabled this device and nothing happend.
the question is anyone has a good information about this device? is it for addressing hot plug Memory. I would like to inform u this server is just 4 bank full.
