HP PROLIANT ML110 G4 - VGA CARD PCI-E 1X
We have a HP Proliant ML110 G4 server that we demoted to desktop. The problem is that the graphics card brings is not very powerful and does not allow higher resolutions of 1024X768 (16bit). The motherboard does not bring PCI-E 16x slot, so we had to buy a PCI-E 1x. When installed the computer will not boot and we tried the graphics card on another computer and working properly. Club is an Nvidia 8400GS PCI-E 1x 256Mb.
Does anyone know if there is any incompatibility?
Thanks for the answers

Re: HP PROLIANT ML110 G4 - VGA CARD PCI-E 1X
Hi,
We proceeded to update the BIOS to the latest version to your computer and continue with the same problem. I can not find where to disable the graphics card BIOS of the motherboard.
With the new BIOS does the same, no video displays and makes three beeps. The graphics card I have tried in the PCI-E 4x and 8x in
Any idea to solve it?
Thanks
