HP Proliant ML350 G4 and non-HP DVD writer
Is there any possibility to persuade ML350 to use Sony DVD writer ? Fortunately we have SmartArray 641 and hard-disks connected to it, so we can use them. But when the server starts, we get the message that DMA error appears. We tried to switch different Slave/Master/CableSelect combinations for the DVD writer and the only solution we have found is forbidden internal SCSI (which we do not use now) - but this is not the best solution.

Re: HP Proliant ML350 G4 and non-HP DVD writer
one mistake in my description - the error is Bus master ERROR! and the message is before Smart Array starts.
