HP Proliant ML350 G4 + Windows 2003 Server 64 bit?

Estoy intentando instalar Windows 2003 Server, Enterprise Edition 64 bit, en un servidor ML350 G4, y ni siquiera me reconoce el cd del sistema operativo.

Me gustaria saber si es posible instalarlo y como hacerlo?

Hello,

unfortunately I don't understand spanish, but are you trying to install Win2003 Server 64-bit on an ML350 G4? That is not possible. 64-bit Windows only works on Itanium machines. The ML350 G4 has Intel Xeon CPUs, so you need a 32-bit version of Windows 2003.

2003 64bit does run on xeons with EMT64

Don't confuse the pre-release X64 edition of Windows Server with the currently shipping 64bit edition of Windows Enterprise Server. The X64 version(when it ships)will run on the Xeon EM64T and AMD64. The true 64bit Enterprise Server edition runs on Itanium only and is on the CD along with the 32 bit version of Windows Enterprise Server.
