HP ProLiant Server Dl380 Gen 10 Drive Sanitize overwrite

Hello,  recently bought  HPE proliant server from a colleague with a 2.4 TB SAS drive on which he had installed ESXi. I wanted to use to use the SSA in the intelligent provisioning to sanitize overwite and use the drive again. 

Kindly is this possible?

Hello @Ramigi,

Yes. You can sanitize overwrites or erase disks using intelligent provisioning. Below is the procedure to erase the disks using Erase Utility:

• On the Intelligent Provisioning home screen, click Perform Maintenance.
• Select Erase Utility from the maintenance options.
• Select the desired option for each device.
• Click Erase. A Confirm Erase window appears, prompting to click OK to initiate the erase procedure.

Hello Ramigi,

Yes it is possible. You can use 'Clear Configuration' option in SSA, this option resets the controller to its default state.All existing Arrays or logical drives configured with that contrioller will be deleted.
