HP server running 2008 R2 is shutting down unexpectedly with health LED blinking red
We are running a server 2008 R2 on Prolient DL380 G7 as sharepoint server.
For the past few days, the server goes off unexpectedly. The health LED start blinking red.
I have checked all the system logs & hp management logs. Not showing any issues or supicious logs.
How can i identify the root cause?

Re: HP server running 2008 R2 is shutting down unexpectedly with health LED blinking red
Hello,
Please review section "Systems Insight Display LED combinations" on page 88 of the HP ProLiant DL380 G7 Server Maintenance and Service Guide for isolating the issue when the health LED is blinking red.
Regards,

Re: HP server running 2008 R2 is shutting down unexpectedly with health LED blinking red
Our HP server, running Windows Server 2008 R2, has been shutting down unexpectedly, with the health LED blinking red. We're trying to understand the root cause of this issue. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and found a solution? Additionally, we're considering using statistical analysis services to analyze logs and patterns to identify potential hardware failures or system errors. Has anyone used such services for diagnosing server issues? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Re: HP server running 2008 R2 is shutting down unexpectedly with health LED blinking red
@TVVJ I have checked all, but doesnt find the combinations there. In my case system shut down automatically, health indicator flashing red & power btn is amber.
Everything else, including the logs are showing it normal. attached pics for referance, fist one when it is off & second one is running status.
stopped status running
Thank You
