Will it (hp smart array p440ar/2gb fbwc) work on windows 2003 R2 Standard ?

Likely not.
This controller is much newer than the OS.
If you want to run w2003 on a new server, virtualize it.
However, why 2003?

due to the characteristics of our enterprise software that runs only on oracle 9i which works properly only on the 2003. We consider virtualization as a " Plan B ". Now choose the HP server that will support SSD raid + windows 2003 r2. can you recommend a particular model ?
