HP Storage Manager v5.01 & Email Notify
I have the above version of HP Storage Manager (HPSM) installed. I have tried to send test email notification messages without success. Using network monitor, I can see that my SMTP server (Exchange 2007) is replying to HPSM with the following error "ReplyMessage: 5.3.3 Unrecognized command". HPSM is sending the following command to my SMTP server "ELO servername.domain.com" where servername.domain.com is the name of the server that HPSM is installed.
Is this a known issue with HPSM v5.01? Unless there is something on the Exchange side that I am missing, it seems that this is a bug that needs attention. Is anyone else having this issue?
I have attached a log from MS Network Monitor.
