Morning all.
I have an ML350 G8 which currentlly has 3 450GB drives configured into a raid 5 array. I would like to increase the second logical drive by 250 GB .Are there any drive configuration utilities I can use to check how many additonal disks may be required for this? Also will I need to delete and recreate the secondary drive or could I just expand the drive once the additonal drive is added to the raid 5 array?
Thanks for the help
Andrew

SolutionYou can use HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) utility to check existing RAID configuration.
HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) for Windows 64-bit

HPE Smart Storage Administrator (HPE SSA) CLI for Linux 64-bit

Once new drive added to existing Array, you can expand the existing logical drive size without delete and recreating the logical drive.
