Hi @reynold1008,
Please try to refer the below links :
You may require Backplane +/ Cage, SAS Cable and Power Cables.

Re: HPE DL 380 storage upgrade
ok thanks.
And what about controller? That's not clear to me.
Do i have to buy SAS expander card?
I think my actual controller can handle only one raid in cage 3

Re: HPE DL 380 storage upgrade
Hi @reynold1008,
You can add SAS expander card with the existing Controller.
Also please do confirm with the Sales Team once.
Thank you

Re: HPE DL 380 storage upgrade
Hi @ksram
Thanks for your reply.
Could you confitm me that when I will connect SAS expander card to my existing controller I won't lose existing raid configuration and data stored on disk in cage 3?
I'm worried about that
Which is the better solution regarding performance?
SAS expander card?
Buy a new P408 controller and install on pci slot?
Can the server handle two controller?
many thanks

Re: HPE DL 380 storage upgrade
Hi @reynold1008,
Ideally there should be no issues as the RIS / RAID data will be saved on the Drives.
However would request you to take Back up prior to the activity.
Thank you
