HPE DL20 Gen 10 LFF to SFF
Hello
I have a HPE DL20 Gen 10 which has two LFF drive bays only with two HPE Midline 3.5" 4TB SATA 7200RPM Drive installed in RAID-1.
We would like to rebuild this server using 2x HPE 3.8TB Read Intensive SSDs which are SFF 2.5" drives.
Are there any options to install SFF drives into LFF bays by way of an adaptor or cage?
Thanks
Lee

Re: HPE DL20 Gen 10 LFF to SFF
Hi,
I have not come across any such adapters for converting LFF to SFF.

I would suggest to check with a HPE Reseller or HPE Support weather you can actually remove LFF and install an SFF drive cage in this server.
Thank You!
I work with HPE but opinions expressed here are mine.

Re: HPE DL20 Gen 10 LFF to SFF
Hello Suman
Thanks for your reply.
I have since spoken with a collegue who suggested P/N 661914-001 would work in this instance.
It is a 2.5" caddy insert used within the LFF caddy.
I haevn't tried it yet, but will update here if it works.
Thanks
Lee
