Hi,
I purchased new sever hp DL380 Gen10 when I am trying to enter in smart storage administrator (SSA version 3.40.3.0). On the next screen under smart array controllers " NO CONTROLLERS DETECTED" cannot create logical drives.
I am using the Smart Storage Administrator to create logical drivers.
Thanks in advanced.

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
What controller is in the server? Are you set for UEFI or Legacy boot mode?

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
Hi Jimmy,
The controller is HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10. I'm using UEFI mode.
Regards.

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
When you check in RBSU does the P408i show up under System Information -> PCI device Information? How about when you look under System Configuration , is the P408i listed there and can you access any of the options when you select it?

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
Under System Configuration, the controller is not listed. I don't see the option System information in RBSU. Also, I have checked in the iLO in the opción Firmware & OS Software if the controller is listed but it is not.
Regards.

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
Hi Jimmy,
The problem was that the controller wasn't seated correctly.
Thank you for your help.
Best Regards

Re: HPE DL380 Gen10 No Controllers Detected
Hi Jimmy,
The card is well seated and the driver is installed and running on device manager. But still, the SSA says no controller detected.

You should probably start your own thread and give details about your system and configuration.
