HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ Adapter 1Gb communication possible?
Hi
I installed the HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP + Adapter on the DL380 G10 server. (10Gb SFP+ Transceiver)
customer's network is 1Gb communication
HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562 adapeter's quick spec,
Here is the phrase:
Operates at 1 Gbps/10 Gbps, auto-negotiation, on both ports
Then there is no problem with 1Gb communication ?

Hi
Yes, you are correct the HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ Adapter Operates at 1 Gbps/10 Gbps, auto-negotiation, on both ports.
As best practices, make sure that both sides of the link are configured the same way.
If one (Server) side of the link is set to auto-negotiation, make sure the other (Switch) side is also set to auto-negotiation.
And If one side is set to fixed speed, make sure the other side is also set to fixed speed.

To get 1GB speed you will need to install a 1Gb transciever. The one I've used in the past is 453154-B21 HPE BladeSystem c-Class Virtual Connect 1G SFP RJ-45 Transceiver Not sure I've used one with this NIC, but It's where I'd start
