HPE firmware overview for several server
Hi, we have about 15x HPE GEN9 and GEN10 server at different customers and we are looking for a central solution to get an overview of the firmware statuses (iLO, BIOS, RAID Controller etc.). Thanks in advance!

Re: HPE firmware overview for several server
Hi,
As far as I know, I would say its InfoSight for Servers.
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/PSN1009838729USEN.pdf
https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00002716enw.html
But there can be alternatives, please check with a HPE Reseller or HPE Sales.
Thank You!
I work with HPE but opinions expressed here are mine.

Re: HPE firmware overview for several server
Hello,
In addition, you may try the following:
a. iLO Federation
b. iLO Amplifier Pack
c. HPE OneView
a. iLO Federation enables you to manage multiple servers, including firmware updates, from one system using the iLO web interface, using multicast discovery and peer-to-peer communication.
Click here to configure and use the HPE iLO 4 Federation features (For Gen9 servers).
Click here to configure and use the HPE iLO 5 Federation features (For Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers).
b. iLO Amplifier Pack is an advanced server inventory, firmware and driver update solution by leveraging iLO advanced functionality, and is available as a VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM appliance.
Click here for the iLO Amplifier Pack User Guide.
To download it, browse to My HPE Software Center, and click on button "Browse Free Software". Under search, in the box displaying "Enter your Search Term(s)" search for 'iLO Amplifier Pack'. You may download it from the result.
c. HPE OneView lets you simplify and automate complex hybrid IT infrastructure. It takes a template-driven approach for deploying, provisioning, updating and integrating compute, storage and networking infrastructure. You me review section "What can I do with HPE OneView?" for more information.
If you intend to use HPE InfoSight for Servers, then you will need to have configured iLO Amplifer Pack.
Please note, you may need iLO Advanced License for one or more of the above options to work. In addition, you may require HPE Passport credentials to download one or more of the above content.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
