HPE NS204i-u NVMe Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device
Can someone explain in what sense that device is hot-pluggable?
I.e. if I have to remove the entire thing in order to replace one of the M.2 cards then my OS crashes I suppose.
Also it probably is not hot-pluggable at all (neither the board itself nor the cards) if it is installed internally and not at the rear of the server...

Re: HPE NS204i-u NVMe Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device
Hi @wedra ,
I believe, only 2280 M.2 NVMe SSDs are two hot pluggable drives. Not the entire card itself. Please refer this document.
Please post the complete detail if you are facing any issue.

Re: HPE NS204i-u NVMe Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device
Hi,
I don't understand, all NS204i-u we ordered are Hot-Plug and have access from the Back of the Server.
Maybe you have to remove the rear cover yourself if you (or your Partner) missed the Factory Setting during the Order.
