HPE Proliant Microserver Gen10 Plus v2 iLO Interface Alternatives

Hey all,
I recently purchased a Microserver Gen10 Plus v2 and was wondering if it's possible to use the iLO interface on the riser board to connect a 10G network card? I'm planning on using the PCIe interface to connect an NVMe drive. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi @hooman64 ,
I assume, metnioned server does not provide the support of iLO.   you need to purchase MicroServer Gen10 Plus iLO Enablement Kit.
You will get the dedicated NIC port with the kit. You cannot use one of port in the any network adapter as dedicated iLO Interface port.
Please refer the following document (Page no. 11)

Re: HPE Proliant Microserver Gen10 Plus v2 iLO Interface Alternatives

Hi @shiva_jr,

Thanks for your response. I actually meant it the other way around. I don't need to use the iLO or use any of the currently available NICs as iLO, but instead wanted to use the iLO interface on the riser board to connect a 10G NIC instead since I'll be using the PCIe interface on the board to connect an NVMe drive. I want to see if it's possible to do that, or the iLO interface on the board is only programmed to be used with the iLO Enablement kit?
