HPE SAS SSD FIRMWARE ISSUE (40K/32K Power-On-Hours Failure)
Hello.
I am using the HPE DL380 Gen10 product. (Product warranty expired)
I was informed that a particular customer had a failure and was using an SSD that corresponds to HP SSD FIRMWARE ISSUE.
SSD in use: HPE 960GB SAS SFFRI SC DS SSD (875682-001)
I was using 5 SSDs and failed at the same time, so the volume in use as a data area is not recognized.
I tried to update firmware through SPP provided by HP, or through ILO, but all failed due to the problem that the SSD was not recognized.
Is there a way to update the firmware on that disk to a resolved version?

Re: HPE SAS SSD FIRMWARE ISSUE (40K/32K Power-On-Hours Failure)
Hello.
I ran a separate firmware file on the link you sent me in the Windows environment
Maybe it's because the SSD is not recognized, but the firmware hasn't progressed.
Is there any other way?
(In other words, I wonder if there is a way to update firmware even in an unrecognized environment (Failed and missing).)
Thank you.

Re: HPE SAS SSD FIRMWARE ISSUE (40K/32K Power-On-Hours Failure)
Hello. SydUmar_1
Are you asking me to write down the serial for the SSD of the product that is currently failing here?
Am I right to understand?
Thank you.
