HPE sending out 2666 MT/s memory when purchasing 2400 MT/s???
Lately we've been seeing HPE memory with the SKU that matches this part, but the OEM PN of the memory is 2666, like the pic attached. What is happening here? We see it in other SKU's too - like P00924-B21 (2933) with 3200 in the OEM part number.

Re: HPE sending out 2666 MT/s memory when purchasing 2400 MT/s???
Hi @bogeygolfer1 ,
In this RAM "32GB 2Rx4 PC4-2666-RB2-12" means, A DIMM of 32GB capacity Dual Rank PC4 generation with speed 2666MHz"
Its Part number is 809083-091.
You mentioned the part number "P00924-B21 ". It is HPE 32GB (1 x 32GB) Dual Rank x4 DDR4-2933 CAS-21-21-21 Registered Smart Memory Kit.
Let me know which HPE server model requires this RAM and did you check the compatibility. I believe, this DIMM will work with Generation 9 servers.
Regards,
