HPE server 12G Vs 6G hard Support

I have an hpe 360 gen 9 server in which a 300gb 12g 10k(P/N 785410) sas hard disk has failed. Is it possible to replace a 300gb sas 6g 10k(P/N 693569) hard disk instead?

You can mix the 6GBps and 12GBps Drives .

The only thing is the 12GBps drives will act like 6GBps drives to work according to the lower data transfer speed available in that particular RAID
