HPE Smart Array P408i-a Firmware doesn't update with newest SPP

Hello,

my issue is a non functional SPP Firmware Update for the Smart Array P408i-a. The SPP routine is running till the end without any failure. But the controller firmware wasn't updated. The current firmware on the controller is 4.11 and on the newest SPP it is 6.52.

I've tried to update first to 5.32, also without any success. The only thing that worked for me, was to flash it within the BIOS, under Embedded Applications -> Firmware Update -> Select the contoller and select the newest firmware from the SPP packages folder. After the flash was successful and a reboot, it is on the newest firmware.

Is there a fix for this? I don't think is is usual to do this a 2nd time!

      Please go through the SPP update methods. You might missed the procedure.
       Refer the Method1 and Method2 video  ,  Document.
