HPE SN1100Q 16 Gb 2P FC HBA | Unknown Status | iLO Device Inventory

Hello Good Day.

I have HPE ProLiant DL380p Gen8 Server . I am using Windows Server 2019 . The HPE SN1100Q 16 Gb 2P FC HBA status showing Unknown from iLO 4 . But this device detecting on the Operating Systesm (Windows Server 2019). Please guide , how to solve the problem. I have attached the screen shot of the iLO Device Inventory

Hi Vijaykumar ,

the SN1100Q is only supported in Gen 9 and newer Servers.

For Gen 8 use the 82Q FC Card.

Hello ,

Well your right .. I checked with specification sheet  . And I found AJ764A    is right one. 

AJ764A    HP 82Q 8Gb 2-port PCIe Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter..

But in the market avaialble 934646-556-    ERZ-SC SPS-BD, HBA, 82Q DP FC PCIE REMARKETED

This is a used, but tested Product.

You will not get any new, because it is too old.

I had the same issue recently on DL360 G10 servers. I resolved this issue by reflashing the firmware. Posting in case that helps anyone. Running Windows 2019 on both those servers.
