HPE SUPPORT
THE FACT THAT HPE TRIES TO FORCE ANYONE INTO PAYING FOR 10 YEAR OLD BIOS' AND SOFTWARE ON ANTIQUATED HARDWARE IS HOW YOU MAKE SURE YOUR CUSTOMER NEVER EVER BUYS HP HARDWARE EVER AGAIN!!! MY OLD DL380 GEN 9 needs updating and I literally cannot update it without buying a service contract...
wow HP YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!

Re: HPE SUPPORT
I can understand the frustration, but I don't get a free map update for my 4-year-old BMW Car, which annoys me too.
On the other hand, someone has to pay for it and if the customers who pay get it in the same way as those who don't pay, it's unfair again.
Otherwise, it seems that critical updates (security-related) are free by HPE and optional ones are not.
