Hyper-V Bios settings DL380 G6

Hi All,

Have been looking for the best/required settings for the BIOS prior to installing Hyper-V. The idea is to drop the server only once prior to install.

Can anyone oblige on this.

I don't have a server in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure the DL380 G6 has those options enabled by default. They're in the processor options.

Intel VT should be enabled by default, and Intel VT-d which is also enabled by default.

I'd serious consider disabling all unnecessary Ports - and setting all power settings to disabled. AKA run all at MAX,MAX,MAX speed for stability with G6/G7 servers!
