Re: Hyper-V not running on DL385 Gen11 AMD

Hello,

In the "UEFI System Utilities User Guide for HPE ProLiant Gen11 Servers, and HPE Synergy" section "Changing Virtualization Options"
please refer to sections "BIOS/Platform Configuration Options > Changing Virtualization Options > and from options
a. Enabling or disabling Access Control Service
b. Enabling or disabling SR-IOV
c. Setting the Minimum SEV ASID
d. Enabling AMD I/O Virtualization Technology
e. Enabling or disabling AMD DMA Remapping
f. Enabling AMD 5-Level Page
g. Enabling or disabling ARM SMMU PMU

Start from "Enabling AMD I/O Virtualization Technology" and enable one after the other and see if it helps.

Also, if needed, you may enable the following processor settings from section "Changing Processor Options"

a. Setting the number of enabled processor cores
b. Enabling or disabling Processor x2APIC Support
c. Enabling AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT)
d. Configuring Performance Determinism Options
e. Selecting AMD Page Table Entry Speculative Lock Scheduling options
