I have a used server HP PROLIANT ML350 G5. Which Windows OS should I install?
I have a used server HP PROLIANT ML350 G5. Which Windows OS should I install? Windows Server or other Windows software. On the other hand, what should I do to prepare the server hard disks. For now, with an old version of Windows Server, I have not arrived. Can not partion the main disk. The buyer had installed Windows 10 for tests only. Do I have to do it ?

Re: I have a used server HP PROLIANT ML350 G5. Which Windows OS should I install?
Hello 2yt,
Thank you for sharing the query.
Please find the link for OS support Matrix for different HPE server. You can choose the Server family and the OS version and it will show if your server is supported by any OS.
Link:- https://h17007.www1.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/windows.aspx
You can use HPE Smart Start CD:- https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_2e6c41afdb8c4c0d9bffce484c#tab4
This will give access to HPE Array Configuration utility, which can be used to configure the Drive Array for OS installation.
You can refer to following User Guide for Array Configuration related queries:- https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c00729544
If you have any additional Queries, regarding the server then please log a case with the Local HPE remote support Team so that they can assist you further on your query.
Regards,
