ICQ and file management.
I'm installing a NeoServer 150 for a small company, and I've been having 2 troubles with it.
a) File management is terrible at best.
b) ICQ refuses to work with it.
File management:
I need to give acces to one folder to several users on one dept, but not to the users of other dept. As far as I know there is no way to do this!
The problem is that people can create folders at will, they can also vie any information stored in the server, etc. File management is poor, poor and unsafe.
ICQ
In the company ICQ is used for comunication inside the office, and outside (there is no way to stop our people adding their friends to their lists), but ICQ refuses to work. I'm using ICQ 99b because it doesn't load banners and it is important to save bandwidth.
About the server.
It works fine, it is stable and idiot proof. But you've made it so idiot proof that it is imposible to manage it. I'm not talking about advanced management, but, simple file acces permissions, modem configuration options, etc. Things that even a server apliance should do, nothing complicated.
I wan't to divide the company in 4 groups, 3 of them will have their own folders and the network admins would have acces to all of them. I wouldn't call this complicated, but I haven't found a way to do it.
Could you guys help me with this server?
