ide boot disk ML330 ATA

Does anyone know how I can get this box to boot off an IDE drive that is not on the raid controller?
This is an ML330 G3 with dual drives on a built-in ATA raid controller. I don't find an option to boot off anything other than the CD, floppy or raid. I want to install the OS to a separate set of drives that are not on the same controller or disks where the data will be stored.

Hello Tom,
Unfortunately, you wont be able to accomplish this because of the way the architecture of the system. If someone has a great idea of doing this I would be very interested to know.

Iam not Sure.But you try by pressing esc key after post screen and seen ,when you press esc you can get the available options to boot their you can select ide .and press enter
