Hi Hemanath ,
This is mostly due to a wrong boot order configuration set in the BIOS.
If you are trying to install the OS through a USB thumb driver, Go to BIOS
Check, if the USB Boot SupportтАЬ is enabled. If not, enable it
Go to тАЮSystem OptionsтАЬ > тАЮUSB OptionsтАЬ > тАЮRemovable Flash Media Boot SequenceтАЬ and select the proper boot device there.
Then select тАЬStandard Boot OrderтАЭ (IPL) and choose to start from тАЬUSB Drive Key (C:)тАЭ first.
Leave the RBSU and restart your server

hello,
having the same issue, but with iso mounted on CD/DVD?
i have tried to install redhat 7.4 ut dot failed during the boot with the same err illigal opcode.
for me i had done the bios config as below:
- boot mode legacy with defaulr ipl setting so startin gwith CD/DVD.
- RAID-1 configured.
-virtualization enabled by default.
any idea? what was the issue ?
