iLO 4 not responding, SPP not loading, DL360 Gen8
Hey,
I've got an DL360 Gen8 that is driving me crazy.
I installed a new OS (Win Server 2016) and ran HP SUM (SPP Gen8.1).
Since then the iLO won't react anymore, no iLO IP is given and the message is:
iLO 4 not responding. System Health Monitoring has been disabled
Now I found this article:

And tried to do what they say, created a HP SPP Bootstick, switch the Switch to on (this is recognised by the Server, it's shown at boot) and boot into SPP.
I get to choose the interactive mode, but when I get to the Mointain view I can move the mouse but nothig happens anymore.
Tried different USB Sticks, even different SPP's but it's always stuck there.
In the OS the iLO is "busy" and not responding either.
I don't know where to go from here, if anyone has had this issue or has a fix would be much apprecheated!
Edit:
when HP SPP runs again, it shows that all the firmwares are up to date, so SPP worked.

Hello,
You can download linux firmware upgrade, Try to install 'Mint' or 'Kali' on server and flash new ILO firmware, should solve your issue. Once when done use your default credentials.

The SPP can be installed onlile too - on OS Level. Extract the ISO on you server, locate the "lounch_hpsum.bat" file and run it as "admin" (right mouse click).
The "HPE Smart Storage Administrator" will start in and you will be able to install not only FW but drivers too.
Regarding the iLO issue - you my try to go into the iLO RBSU Menu and select "reset to factory defaults".

Ok I'll create a kali bootstick with the firmware, but how do I flash it from inside the linux?

Hey,
starting the SPP online is not the problem, did that before but that doesn't fix the iLO issue, I just wanted to use that to flash the firmware.
resetting to factory defaults doesn't work unfortunaly.
