ILO Amplifier Pack Hardware Support Manager (HSM) for VMware vLCM and certificate renewal

Hello,

I'm using ILO Amplifier Pack 2.16 with HSM connected to vSphere. The ILO Amplifier Pack is using an internal certificate wich will expire soon. The certificate is added in Trusted Root Certificates in vSphere. Everthng is working fine.

I need to create a new certificate and publish it to vSphere now. Can i simply create a new cetificate and add it to vSphere Trusted Root Certificates or is there a need to unregister HSM first, deploy certificate and register HSM again?

There are no information about certificat renewal process in user guide. Also not in HPE Hardware Support Manager plug-in for VMware vSphere Lifecycle Manager.pdf.

Thanks for your answer. I need to know how to update the certificate if the connection already exists. In short: Do i break the existing connection if i just request a new certificate in iLO Amplifier Pack and import it in trusted root certificates in vCenter?
