ILO default password for BL20p servers
I have 3 production servers that I can not reboot to find the default password for the ILO. I'm able to access these ILO's from a DHCP address but I don't have the ILO password. Since these are Blades I have to remove the server from the enclosure to get the info from the sticker. Does Compaq keep a record of the ILO defaults when they ship them if I provided them with the servers S/N? Is there another way to logon to the ILO with out the Administrator password?

Re: ILO default password for BL20p servers
Hi George,
In addition to what Prashant has provided, HP can't really keep track of this. If any of the blades get a new system board as pasrt of a repair, it comes with a new tag with a new default DNS Name and password configured in the factory.
I'm afraid it's up to the customer to keep track of this information.
Regards,
Brian
