iLO monitoring directly via SCOM
Hi. I have been asked to look into a way to monitor HPE iLOs directly from SCOM. From the reading Ive done so far, it looks like the recommendation is to use an appliance called oneview, which sits in between SCOM and the Proliant iLO.
Is there a way to send iLO alerts (hardware failure, logins etc) directly to SCOM instead of using an appliance? If so, can someone please let me know how this is done?
Im hoping its as easy as installing a management pack on the SCOM server (How do I know what version ?) and then configuring iLO to send SNMP to the SCOM server ?
Any help or advice here would be brilliant. Thanks
