Hi,
iLO reset does not require reboot as it has its own processor.
Resetting iLO through the web interface:
If iLO is slow to respond, you might need to perform a reset.
1. Navigate to the Information→Diagnostics page in the iLO web interface.
2. Click Reset.
Clicking Reset iLO does not make any configuration changes, but it ends any active connections to iLO and completes any firmware updates in progress. You must have the Configure iLO Settings privilege to reset iLO using this method.
