ILORest 5.3.0.0 (Linux) Not Defaulting RBSU/BIOS

When using version 5.3.0.0 of ILORest (Linux version), defaulting the RBSU/BIOS does not produce an error, but also does not reset to defaults.  This is on a DL325 Gen11.

The command run was:

ilorest biosdefaults --manufacturingdefaults -vvv

Upon rebooting the server, the configuration is not defaulted and there is no entry in the iLO Security Log.

Using version 5.1.0.0 DOES correctly default the configuration, so I believe there was a regression in the latest version.

Upon rebooting the configuration is defaulted and is also evidenced in the Security Log as expcted.

Default configuration settings have been restored per user request. If Secure Boot was enabled, related security settings may have been lost.

Hi Ron,
We have found the user guide and the above command used for manufacturing default is correct.

Please refer the below documents for more information.

Re: ILORest 5.3.0.0 (Linux) Not Defaulting RBSU/BIOS

Thank you for the reply Rakesh.  I'm more reporting this as a bug in version 5.3.0.0 of the ILORest tool as the command no longer works as it did in version 5.1.0.0.  I do see how to do it with raw RedFish, but prefer to use ILORest whenever possible.

Hi Ron,
Thank you for highlighting the scenario. However, this commands has been updated for Gen11 servers in the ILO rest api document.
We will keep a note on the share details.
